ShortDot cares – we don’t like abuse any more than you do!

ShortDot uses Trusted Notifiers to monitor our zone files and may, from time to time, place domains on ServerHold when they are reported to us. Occasionally this action is taken, and the domain owner simply misconfigured their domain or perhaps registered a domain that was expired but previously used for DNS Abuse. If you believe your domain was improperly placed on ServerHold, please fill out the below form, and our team will investigate further.

Please note that the removal of ServerHold status is not guaranteed, and once this form is submitted, it may take up to 48 hours to process the request.

Our abuse team will review each case and take the appropriate action. Please include the required proofs with your submission, as we will not be able to tackle requests which lack supporting evidence.

Please enter only the domain name and its extension, do not include HTTP, /, :, or any other special characters. If you are requesting the removal of ServerHold on multiple domains please enter one at a time and re-submit the form for each additional domain.
Often times a misconfigured DNS setting can lead to reports of DNS abuse, as can a large volume of emails, etc. Please let us know what the issue was and what you have done to remedy the situation.
